Today, Outright opens a new chapter in our company’s history. I want to personally share it with all of you, our loyal customers. Outright has been acquired by Go Daddy, the world’s largest web hosting provider.* Outright is now a Go Daddy company.
I know the first question that comes to mind is “What does it mean to me as an Outright customer?” I want to be very clear about this.
Your Outright service will remain the same. Continue using it as you do today.
We believe you will benefit because of the range of Go Daddy products, services, and support designed explicitly for small business owners. Joining Go Daddy feels like a move that was just meant to be. We are combining forces with a company that has built a billion dollar business with the simple idea of providing great products and a brand of service that delights customers, like you.
According to Go Daddy CEO Warren Adelman, the acquisition made sense for a few reasons. “This is a great fit for our customer base. Outright.com has built easy-to-use software that streamlines the work involved with running a start-up or small business … the taxes, income, profits, expenses and other financial data that can be an administrative distraction for business owners. As an entrepreneur, if you’re not worried about managing finances for hours every month, you can devote more time to building your business. We see this as an ideal extension for our suite of small business products, which are all geared toward helping businesses grow bigger.”
I, along with all of my Outright colleagues, including our co-founder Ben Curren, are joining Go Daddy and will remain anchored in Silicon Valley.
Ben also feels strongly that this is the right move for our customers. He was recently quoted explaining the new merger as, “We had a lot in common with Go Daddy from the start. We both prioritize customer support, value-rich technology and entrepreneurship.“
On behalf of all of us at Outright, thank you for taking this journey with us from our founding four years ago to this new, exciting chapter.
